We were at Target the other day. I was pushing Ashlynn in her stroller hurrying through to get the few things I needed and get out, when she started to proclaim, "God is good! God is good!" I looked down to see her smiling, sunglasses on, arms waiving, loudly proclaiming to everyone who passed by, "God is good!" I couldn't help but laugh. She was so cute and so unashamed to share her joy. I also couldn't help but feel a bit convicted thinking, "Do I proclaim His goodness like that in my everyday life?"
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
"Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:3
